Dr. Charlton Adler is a podiatric surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He has six board certifications, validating his expertise in foot and ankle surgery, wound care, limb salvage, podiatric orthopedics, primary podiatric medicine, and diabetic foot care.
Dr. Charlton Adler provides outstanding care to all patients at Adler Foot and Ankle, from two offices in North Miami Beach and Hallandale, Florida.
He grew up on Long Island, New York. After obtaining a degree as a licensed Pharmacist from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, he continued his education at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. A residency at the Miami Veteran’s Administration (Miami VA Medical Center) followed, and after completion, he chose to make Miami his home.
Dr. Charlton Adler is an adjunct professor at Barry University. He is also a twice past chief of the Aventura Hospital Podiatry sub-specialty department as well as a past president of the Dade county podiatric medical association.
Also, having served at Aventura Hospital and Jackson North Hospital wound care centers, Dr. Charlton Adler truly loves his profession, which is evident in the individualized care and attention given to each patient. All facets of Podiatric services are covered in the office, emphasizing non-healing wounds and limb salvage techniques.

Dr. Charlton Adler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Foot Surgery, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (CAQ) in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care, the American Academy of Wound Management, and the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry Limb Preservation and Salvage.
In addition, he is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician and Certified Physician in Wound Care (CMET).
Dr. Charlton Adler currently provides high-quality care to people of all ages at Adler Foot and Ankle alongside his daughter, Dr. Laura Adler, DPM.
